Hmmm - I got an idea. Quit asking about where to buy a machine? Buy one from me or get the fuck out

Ok. I have my new Needlejack Freedom brass machine set up as a shader and it puts my other machines to shame. It is much better than I expected for the price. Thanks Chris for the great deal! I put a picture of the tattoo I just did in the Album (it's the evil clown in the miscellaneous section). I highly recommend this machine.

Ok, I just got off the phone with my next victim, uh, I mean client.

I have some lower back work to do on her. Mostly shading and coloring but I'll probably get a chance to use the Freedom machine on this tat.

Expect a full review by at least Thursday. I'll post some pics too. This tat is big and it's a cover of an old hand pick done by her ex husband. I've already done the outline work and a little bit of the shading. She sat for three and a half hours and wanted to get up. So we're gonna get it finished with her next session.

I bought some Kaplan garbage some time ago, what shit. Framey is correct on what to do with them, although they should work, your paying for them. Unimax makes a decent cheap machine.

Joe Kaplan machines are well respected by many artist and the quality is not bad. When you purchase a new machine, it might not work the way you want them to. You have to learn to tune and set up your machine that will work well with your style. A well tuned machine for me might be crappy for you.
Coils and how many wraps they have is not the only thing you have to look at when buying a machine...everything must be looked at, even the screws!!!
