if i want to get a lighter shade of blue than whats in the bottle should i mix in white or witch hazel/distilled water?and if ive already mixed in mixing white with a color can i further fade the color out with witch hazel/water.the problem im haveing is the blue i have is to dark for the tat im working on and im haveing a hell of a time getting the blue mixed with white to take,i know blue is kinda a pain in the ass anyways regardless of brand.any suggestions.thanx

I always just use white if all u want is to get a lighter shade . If u wanted a lighter shading effect , then I just use some whip shading ...

Instead of mixing white with your blue try mixing blue with white. In onther words. Fill a cup with white then ad the blue to get the lighter shade you want. I've found that adding white to a color to lighten it dosent seem to work to the degree I'm trying to get. So I tried it backwards and it worked fine.

ya , I forgot that part, lol definatly start with the white , then add the blue .
