i m just starting out tattooing do you need a sonic cleaner and a autoclave. any help is well recieved

Ive seen some tattooists (as well as myself) use small ultrasonic cleaners to clean tips between colors also, insted of rinsing the tip with green soap or dettol. U can get very small cleaners that only hold about 8-10 ounces of solution for cleaning, but I cant seem to find one here in canada yet.

I use an ultra sonic clean during tattoo application to clean me tubes of ink so i can use the next color.
I personally would advise you to get both. But if you are going to use dispossible equipment you do not need them.
But most old time tattooist use there own tubes and needles. So if you going for an apprenticeship you will be using them. :D

I use all stainless steel so i can sterilize them once i am done. :D

I just spray alcohol thru the tip till I've cleaned out the previous color. And I also use a cap full of alcohol to dip into.

I use a stainless steel cup in the ultra sonic cleaner. works great. :D

I use disposable cups in my little ultrasonic during a tattoo in between colors fill one with water and one with green soap and water then just throw the cups away at clean up..... :D

some stores carry the tiny ultrasonic cleaners int the jewelry department.theyre labled as ring cleaners.
