If you're talking about the blue tubes I've been using them for a while now and I like them. Get the 1" grip for sure. I ordered some 11 mags and matching tubes from Technical and the tubes that I got were the white ones with the rubber grips. Half inchers too. Hand cramp city.
If you use the straight tube with a slide on grip you really need to sterilize the grips in a sterilization pouch in a clave. Thats the only verifiable way to insure sterilization. And when you open a sealed package in front of your client it instills trust and confidence in your professionalism.
The cool thing about the blue tubes is that the lexan is solid down to the 5/16 tube center. So if you use the 1" grip you do get a little weight on the front. Not as much as a stainless grip but you can tell the difference from a 5/8' tube and certainly a 1/2" grip.
I'll call Technical on Monday and get an answer to the mag question. The tubes are shovel style so as long as they dont hang in the tip they should work. But I could be wrong here.
i really like the blue lexan tubes compared to the white ones with the rubber grips.these ones dont flex and the other did and i like the tips better too.
