Just out of curiosity. Would you elaborate on "organic"?

My boyfriend's been in the business for about 13 years, he knows a guy out on the east coast that who uses all organic inks used out of organic materials such as clays, barks, herbs etc...He doesn't remember what it's called, but knows the guy ordered it from the west coast in about 1lb tubs. Says the ink comes out brighter, more solid, and much more vivid than the pre-mixed bottles.

Panther e-mailed me back: "Our inks have no organic materials." Is all it said. That's kind of a scary thought when you actually think about it; I had read the about.com articles on ink chemistry, the list of ingredients is NOT cool. Plastic?? Ewww! That CANT be a good thing. It makes me want to find those organic inks even more, if anything just for my own skin!! LOL
