what tips or tricks does anyone have for creating a stencil for a tattoo that covers a large portion of the body- say, a backpiece. I'd assume you just have to piece it out, but that gets tricky....any tips to make this easier?? do you use oversized paper to draw the piece, or draw it in sections on regular sized paper??

I would do in sections so that until you have a full out line or blood line .

I,m new here and have just done a large full back tribal peice.
To do this i printed of Design onto two A4 sheets but using photo software created a small overlap. I made stencils for each A4 peice, now you have a choice depending on detail & size, as to join the two a4 sheets and apply in one or do it as two sections using the overlap section to allign to first stencil applied! Hope this makes sense

I have made mine the old sckool way... butcher paper and stencil paper. Hint, the carbon will not stick to the wax side...lol.
