I was thinking of doing some ink on the palm (inside) of my hand. Does anyone have any experience, thoughts, or advice. I haven't done anything yet, so no damage done

Actually, Jesse James' tattoo held fine for like, what, 4 years before he had it touched up...The trick with that though is the stippling. Instead of "lining" and "shading," it was done entirely by stippling, which will make it set truer and longer than traditional methods. It would be very tedious and time consuming, and of course it will not have the appearance of smooth shading, but it will certainly stay a lot longer with fewer touch ups. With the right peice to match the method, it has potential for a very creative and distinguished look.
Any rejections or otherwise contradictions to this reply, please post....I'm very curious to hear more experienced opinions.

Hey, I did the palm of my hand like 3 times now.(I'm A sucker for punishment) and as its been said it don't stay too long i think the last time i did it it lasted a month, then started to fade big time.Oh ya it hurts like hell too! one more note if you do do it go DEEP! cause the deeper you go the longer it stays, I've got a few lines and dots left, I dont think I'll do it again, and also don't recamend it but hey thats just me! i heard it hurts like hell in the creases of your palm.ive thought about tattooing my palms also but i imagine the healing prosses sucks ass, so i tatted the top of my hand.the ink fades on the top of your hand pretty quick aswell, i guess it cause your always useing your hands and they get wet offten.

yeah I did some work on the karate chop part of the hands. it turned out great and really bright, but after it healed it lost a ton of color and even blank spots.

There is to much movement in the skin and skin replacement the body just rejects it .

Well, at least that's one area you could change your mind on several times...lol...don't like it, let it go away and start over...I've always said I will be so upset when I run out of skin...by then I will live for touch-ups lol. Ahh, your choice. So what if it doesn't stay...it's the experience, and if you're in the industry there's always someone to touch it up. Probably not a good idea, but hell, there's no fun in making the "right choices"
Just so long as you're not f***ing someone else up.
