i was reading an artical in skin and ink about polliticaly incorrect tattoos and how history has changed the meaning behind certain symbols.like the sanskrit or swastika,how it went from meaning good luck to the american indians,greeks, celts,hindus etc.to meaning somthing racist.i guess even the peace sign has a story behind it..so if you have a question or know the meaning of a certain tattoo i'd like to know,....i want to know what a severd head symbolisis? :shock:

i thought vegas wuz a new suburb of so cal.......or maybe its the other way..lmfao....but on the subject of symbols, they wuz a show on the hist channel, or analmule planet (one o them edukational netwerks) that wuz called "taboo" and featured a lot shit on russian prison ink and the meanings of various tats that wuz really interesting....one dude was on death row got his face plastered w/shit and then they repealed the death penalty!....i've done some tats that these guyz have brought in books on witchcraft and such and had symbols inked on specific dates, and body locations etc...gotta admit it gave me the creeps, but to each there own...

i saw that show too it was pretty interesting.i thought the crimal tattoos were pretty cool.like a candle meant that life could easily be snuffed out,skulls meant premeaditated murder,rings on fingers meant you killed some one,a crusifix on the chest meant you were a prince of theives,eyes on the lower back where tattoos forced opon inmates who where to become sex slaves "bubbas bitch"and nazi symbols and the words out law where marks of persons who were to be killed.well thats all i can remember.hope somebody finds this intersting.peace.
