I freehand most of my work and hand make stencils for the rest. Looking for a brand name or a source of something that will give me good reproduction of a line drawing in a stencil.

At this point - the closest you will get to hand drawing is hand drawing your stencil. You can use a thermofax 3M, Standard, Vistafax. All produce quite well except for fine line. Again, nothing beats the real thing.

go on ebay and look for a 24 pin panasonic dot matrix printer. Don't pay more than 30.00 for it. It will last forever. Another good thing about these printers is that you will never have to relplace the ribbon because the printing is done with the thermofax paper and not the ribbon.

Hello,
All dot matrix printers are parallel port only, All computers have them on the back. These printers work really well i have used mine for years. You will need a scanner or get a flash CD from ebay or email me and maybe we can make some trade. I personally own everything ebay has ever put out on CD. You just take the picture off the cd and resize it with Microsoft picture it (FREE SOFTWARE) and print it out on the dot printer then its normal application from there.
Thanks Preacher :D

Hello,
You can also resize picture with microsoft word. You get microsoft picture it free with MSM internet services. You also get picture software with almost any new printer or scanner, its part of the free software that comes with the printer or scanner. If you want to purchase the new microsoft picture 10 go to micosoft web site (i would advise not to do this there are to many free programs out there.) Digital camera also have some sort of image program for resizing pictures. You can also ge the free version of microsoft picture it from IMESH. (beware it is a file shareing program). If you need help just let me know and i can help you find some free software. :D
Thanks Preacher
