I was wondering if anyone can recommend a quality autoclave for a resonable price? I was thinking about going with the All American. does anyone own one?

Hello,
I have used most of the cheappest auto claves on ebay. By fare the best i used is my all american. the best one is the one with its own heat source. you will still need to spore test it every once in a while.

Thanks for the input Preacher. Can you use a steam aoutoclave to steralize things like gauze, lap towels and things like that or is a dry heat recommended for those type of medical supplies?

No, because they will get wet. But most of those things are a one time use. you should not need to sterilize them unless you want too.
