Only with cosmetic inks. You don't use conventional tattoo ink.

There are several place to buy cosmetic inks but it's not like conventional tattooing. I personally like Premier pigments. I have had excellent results with them. They are more expensive than conventional ink as well but they are safer to use for facial areas. They don't taste at all. You have to be extremelly careful not to overwork the area because you can do more harm than good vs. doing say a conventional tattoo on the arm. The link for the ink is below.

Are you talking about inside of the lip? Like when someone pulls their bottom lip down you can see the tattoo only then?

Oh! You can use your regular black for that. The skin is thin there so don't spend too much time there.

Warn whoever wants a tat in thier mouth that they are very prone to infections. The human mouth is full of bacteria and 90% of tattoos in the mouth will become infected.

i heard when you do a tattoo there, that you dont do anything to help it heal, you just let it do what is going to do.
is that true?
and is there anything you can do to help make sure it doesnt get infected?

Antiseptic mouthwash, will help keep infection away. But in my expierence it seems the people wanting thier lip tattooed do goog to brush thier teeth on a regular basis. "Inside lip tattooed = BAD HYGENE"
In my expierence.
