I would like to know if you can have any reactions to using different brand inks over top of other brands. I had done some work on my arm in shit prizm ink and it looks all faded and crappy, now im using Intenze and want to redo the color with the better ink. Just dont want some reaction thats going to blow my friggin arm off.

i have never encountered any problems .the way i see it is everybody uses the ink they like if it matters u would have to always go and find someone using that ink everytime u wanted a piece worked on or added to

Long as the old work is healed you should not have a problem with it. I never have plus there is always people doing cover ups and they don't use the same inks I also use starBrite and moms Ink on the same Tattoo.

T-BONE , MY FRIEND !!! Just got "Advanced Cover-Ups " by James Kern today , like Joeseph said make sure you are healed completely , and as long as its yourself your'e working on , you should be in no hurry ...correct ??, Do the initial line work , and this part is up to you ... Kern says to run a 5 round w/ white over the darker areas (lightly , do 2or 3 passes) ... let heal and go back with color or lay down another layer of white ..then color , he has some good stuff in the book . I havent had a problem using Intenze for covers in fact I've nothing but good results... I just threw away 11 bottles of Prizm today , had them for a year, and never opened them ...got them in a package deal I couldnt refuse :twisted:GOOD LUCK !!!!
