Before you ask.
Yes the image is under 3 k, in fact it's only 2k, and yes it's smaller than 100 px wide, and tall.
Still offering my help. I also have (very secure) server space available that I can donate to the cause if you want, and we can get the gallery section and chat back together in a snap. Please let me know. Or, if all else fails try deleting my acct. and send me an e-mail to berto@studio445.com and let me know it's deleted and I'll re-make it again and see if that helps. Thanks again.
I really like the community and am willing to do anything I can to make it better or at least help make what you want it to be.

hey grafx i see part of your problem and if you look at the avatar help
post on the general discussion section it will help.
your file MUST be 100 x 100 pixels in size, not smaller or larger.
read it, i posted a reply to help everyone.
my avatar is higher than 12 kb's and it works.

Thanks man, I apreciate it , but thats not the problem. You shouldn't have to post avatars from other sites if you choose not to. Actually the instructions state
Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater than 100 pixels, the height no greater than 100 pixels, and the file size no more than 3 KB.
I posted the error code exactly. It has nothing to do with the image dimentions or file size.
Not to be disrespectfull dude because I do apreciate the intended help, but I'm a web-master and a programmer for a living. Theres a problem with the board. Trust me. He probably needs to CHMOD the user avatar directory to 0777 to allow user avatar uploads.

Thanks anyway

Not a problem at all dude. I guess it's just a little frustrating. There is quite a little bit of "Quirky" things that often pop up after a site recovery that sometimes take a while to iron out. My concern was more of the problem and the server side solution. I have probably around 80 domains (give or take) that I manage on my server, so I understand completely what he has gone through. It's tedious to say the least. Rather than just upload an avatar from my server I was looking more at his server side stuff thats all. But I'm certain that if it doesn't get straightened out that your solution is the best considering the circumstances.
