Im not sure if Ive asked this before, do any of you spread your, Lets say 4 or 6 flat shader needles (fan) to fit into your tubes snug? (side to side)

I DONT SPRED IT TO FIT THE TUBE BUT I SPRED ENOUGH TO LET THE INK FLOW WELL, I BELIEVE OVER SPREDING CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TH THE SKIN BECAUSE THE NEEDLES ARE NOT EVEN.

WHAT EVER NEEDLE GROUP YOU USE, THER IS A PROPPER TUBE FOR IT, IT DOES NOT HAVE TO FIT EXACT, BUT THE TUBE IS NOT SUPPOSE TO BE TO BIG EITHER.

i spread my flat fours a little to let the ink flow and to get a specific range in shading but that's only when i go for that effect.
the rest of the time i have had no problems with the way flat fours shade with out spreading the needles.
it's a matter of expirementing to suit your style.
