If you want the color to really stand out on darker skin you'll probably need to go over it at least two more times. Let it heal up. Have him come back and color it again. I have a neighbor who is Mexican. Very dark skin. I did a reaper on his arm with a moon behind it. It took several sittings but that moon really shines now. You can build up color over time.

yep thats what i thought but didnt want to do it until i asked because the other thing that was in my mind how many times should you keep touching up twice ok but after that well i dont know i mean how much ink can that particular or any tattoo take before you overload it :!:
the other thing i would like to know is
you dont mix two different manufacturers inks together outside of skin but what about when putting into the skin example done the tattoo its healed not very bright so you change inks and go over with someones elses ink will they mix under the skin :?: does this make sence :?:

Yes you can go over a tattoo with another brand of colour!
Look at my geisha under /colour thoughts /flesh ink from Intenze
On that tattoo i used different inks ! No problems at all!

I try an explain to my darker clients(im in south florida ,i get a couple !!! ) that theres a possibility that the lighter (any colors for that matter) colors wont be bright , and after explaining that, its their decision !! I agree with what Papa said about going back and building color over a period of time , but , after reading James Kerns book , I'd say to set the needle out JUST A LITTLE and giving it a couple of passes ,NOT DEEPLY , just building up color ,do this a couple of times (making sure to give plenty of time to heal )and you should be good !!! hope this helped !!! P.S. ....I use Bannana Cream from Intenze and Canary Yellow from Starbrite for the REALLY BRIGHT SHIT !!!

thats what i will do than guys but the only thing that still worries me is the saturationon that particular bit of skin can take, i understand building up over a few sessions no problem but theres got to be a limit as to how much ink you can put in to a paticular area before the skin says im full :?:

THREE OR FOUR PASSES AT THE VERY MOST, IN ONE SITTING , AFTER THAT YOU'RE IN THE DANGER-ZONE OF TURNING SHIT INTO HAMBURGER !!!!!,
