Ok I just purchased some thermal image paper from needlejack, I hope this is the right stuff this time, Everyone on this forum has told me I should start using it because it leaves a way better stencil that doesnt rub off as easy as the hectograph pencil on tracing paper, The way I used to transfer was with speedstick (no worries I used paper towels to apply it with) now Im assuming since Im gonna be going to thermal image paper (spirit master??)that there is a different means of transferring the image, Ive read alot of people use dettol, I wasnt able to purchase it threw needle Jack, (dont think he sells it), However I do have some stuff I bought off ebay ,its called Bones tattoo transfer solution, has anyone here used this product? also while using thermal image paper, do I need to reverse my design before I begin to trace?

spirit masters transfer fine with speed stick or green soap. no need to reverse image ,just place image face up on white side of spirt master and trace , if you leave the seperator sheet in you can use that for a stencil as well , you get twice the mileage

No you don't have to reverse your design but you may need to reverse the stencil paper depending on which way you want the design to lay on the skin. You'll see what I mean! Just thought I would throw that out there. Peace and good luck

Ok recieved my thermal image paper from needle jacks, Im drawing my stencil by hand , tried it last night with both pen/pencil on a clip board, and I was having a problem getting the thermal (blue stuff ) to transfer to the sheet over it, (it looks like tracing paper but thinner) consistantly, feel like a dumbass! I know there has to be a right way to do this. right now hectograph pencils are winning in this stencil dilemma. please help someone!!!!!!!

Here's a simple solution. Print out what you want on the printer. Place this object on top of the non shiny side of thermal paper (purple shit) trace it right over the top of the image with a pen or pencil. Look at the other side of the paper. See everything you missed by holding it up to the light.

Check and see if there is a brownish sheet of onionskin paper between the sheets , if there is, take it out !!!! I'm not familiar w/ N.J.s stuff , but I know by MY not paying attention , I've had to re-draw a couple of LARGE pieces because i was in a hurry
