Okay, so I am a newbie at tattooing, but I have been getting tattooed for years, and I know how to take care of them, and I have proper aftercare sheets to give out after I finish a tattoo, well, my Aunt comes down on vacation and wants me to give her first tattoo. She wants a huge smiley face, but somehow I convinced her to get something else. She lost her son to S.I.D.S at a month old, and I told her I'd love to do some sort of tribute, so she helps me draw up a heart with a banner that she really liked, and I put her son's name in it. Well, I give her instructions on aftercare, and then give her the sheet so that she can have it on hand just in case. I went to see how her tattoo was healing, cause it's been over two weeks and I figured it was probably all healed. Well, when I go see her, she's in the back yard laing out in the sun, with a huge bottle of baby oil next to her!!! I looked at her tattoo and noticed it looked SUPER shiny, I asked what she had on it and she said LIP GLOSS !!!!!!! My jaw dropped! I told her that was insane and I asked how long she'd been tanning, cause she was super dark, and she said for around two weeks!! Her tattoo looked like total SHITE!! And no way near healing. I told her to come inside so I could get a better look at it. She says she wants to get cleaned up first, and I hear her running bath water. She's in the freaking tub for like 40 min, then tells me she takes a long bath every night! Oi!!!! I can't believe the woman! And she wants me to do another tattoo for her! She is family, but I can tell her NO, RIGHT ?!?!? JEEESH! :evil: :shock: :roll:

yes you can just say no and explain nicely being diplomatic that haveing another tattoo will take away the attention to the tribute that you done thus not makeing it important as it should be

I have a client....wait let me correct that. I HAD a client who went straight from my studio to a tanning bed. After I had told her three times not to tan till her tattoo was finished healing. I even had her read the after care instructions back to me. Well she called me three days after getting an infection and told me I had to fix it. I told her that not only would I NOT fis it. That I wouldnt be doing any more tattoo work on her. Now she's a friend and I like her. But it's not my fault she's stupid.

You guys are tooooo much !! :lol: Well, my story gets even better, my aunt called me late last night and asked if her tattoo should still have scabs! And I said no, and explained to her that she didn't follow any of the aftercare instructions I gave her and she also went against everything I said. And she tells me, "Well, I have been trying to pull the scabs off, but they just come right back!!" I could've have freaking died! I couldn't believe what she was saying so I lied and said I had to go. But before we hung up, she says she's leaving next week and wants another tattoo, and just what she wants it to be. ~~ SHE wants HER drawing (and mind you, her drawings look like a 2nd graders) of a set of eyes on her shoulder blade with the saying "I'm Looking at you" and no lie, near the bottom of her back, she wants another saying ," Looking at Me." So that if someone asks, then she has to lift up her shirt and show the bottom saying!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!! I told her I am sooo busy, I might not have time, but I'll try. NFW !I feel bad, but all the horrible things she did to the last tattoo, no way. :x :o
