13 mags

hi all firstly i'm a newbie from the uk great site you got hear.
now then i use mags alot of the time in my studio mainly 7's.
when i use the bigger 13's the ink doesnt seem to go into the skin ???
any reason why ?
oh and i'm not to good yet at tunning my machines.
could it be the ink i use at the moment micky sharpx easy flow ??

A 13 mag is a heavier setup than a 7 or a 5. You probably need to adjust your voltage and possibly the machine itself.

i agree with papa on that but also remember a 13 is like a hoover when you dip it you will find that it sucks a lot of ink loads more then a 7 so it might be your not drawing up enough ink
be carefull because if your not your gonna end up with a lot of skin trauma etc
theres plenty of information on here about tuneing as well so have a good read its all good sound advice

when your'e using anything above a 9 mag , its best to use 12 wrap coils , be carefull w/ the larger mags my friend !!! :D
