What do you recommend?

I need to purchase my 1st shading machine to go along with my 5 Needle Liner.

What would be considered a 'standard sized' workhorse shader for general tattooing?

Call chris at the NEEDLEJACK supply store let him know how you tattoo , what your'e looking for , he'll hook you up !!! my suggestion is start off with a "Strongman " from his site , i got one and use it all the time !!!!

I have a strongman and its a great machine for the cost, and does a good job for shade work.

the last thing i needed was two more machines :shock: , but i ordered the "strongman & iron star " from the site and i'm really impressed with them , , good stuff !!!!! , but like J.B.B. said Chris is a great guy for putting up this forum and not pushing his supplies down our throat !!!! So, do the right thing people !!!!
