I'm looking at SS 1-pc Tubes for a 7 Round Shader Needle.

I see SS Round Shader Tubes in a 5-7 size and a 7-14 size. Would I want the 5-7 sized tube or the 7-14 sized tube?

HELP! HELP!

?? :?:

Essex Boy,
So would one suggest that a Newbie ride the tube or otherwise for beginning?

just to be on the safe side of safe
Forgiven beat me to the reply.
i just feel its so easy to jump in with two feet and have that needle hanging out but until you can judge depths when working its probally better to ride the tube because your needle is set and you aint gonna go pounding some poor souls skin.too deep.
personally i spent six months riding the tube before i droped those suckas down a bit then a little bit more until i felt comfatable with what i was doing.hence the frase baby steps.
this is an art that just carnt be rushed because you wont do it or yourself justice
dont forget this is just my 2 cents and it carnt be used as gospel everyones got there own thing and way of doing things :!:

Understood - thanks.

Now, when 'riding the tube' can one tell where they ARE tattooing or is it 'blind' working in that manner?

no not really
if your doing an outline youve already got the stencil on so you know where your going say a to b not forgetting not to break the line halfway through, laymens terms once you start that line dont stop until you get to point b so although you carnt see the needles you actullay chasing the line of the stencil if you see what i mean.
2nd part if filling youve already put your lines down so you have got your boundrys to work with.
shit if i carry on like this ill have written a book  and before you all jump my bones guys there was an easy answer yes or no.
so at this point if ive gone wrong for fucks sake correct me.
all im saying at the end of the day its all a learning curve but we could probally write a book on each topic ,after all that is there an easy answer
ps battleroyal this reply is not knocking you like you dont know anything
but there are newbies out there that might not know

try using a 7 diamond tip and run the needle down the bottom grove with it being a sharper tip it feels more like your writing with a pen
