Is this pros/cons question, a question about fronts springs with silver contact points at the tip, as opposed to front springs without? If not, their are only a handful of companys that offer such models without a contact point or screw , none of which I own...Please be more specific when posting questions like this.

I really didnt understand the question. A coil type tattoo machine must have contct points to run. Or is he talking about a set of points like the ones used in old cars?

urminds you got it..the spring with the silver contact on the tip of the spring.. like in a stinger machine acontact in tip of spring..in a strongman none................ sorry for the confusion...pipster,, :oops:

Sorry for the rant....Anyway I use both, springs with, and springs without, to me I prefer no contact points (silver) mostly because I feel my machine works better without, seems to have more of a punch to it, also, Im not so limited to where I can adjust my contact screw angle, closer to the tip of the spring...shader...angled alittle towards the back, liner. But thats me, an alot of this is just a matter of preference. hope this helped.

i never use springs with points..just never liked them
