Hoping someone can help me with this.

Outlined a tribal neckpiece on this chick today, and ran into an odd situation. She's a big ol' girl, and apparently she used to be much bigger, 'cuz when I started stretching, her skin stretched, and stretched, and stretched......I was barely able to line it decently, and I'm dreading the fill-in.

It's weird, she looks normal, but her hide fits like it's two sizes too big and made of rubber.

Besides the normal advice of "stretch more",(believe me, I am!) has anyone got any suggestions or needle recommendations for the fill in?Has anyone run into this before? I'd really like to be able to get it looking good the first time and be shut of the chick.

Thanks in advance

it happens to me all the time (god bless the big girls  !!) you not only have to stretch but also push ....it makes for shorter lines but what are you gonna do ?? also have them help you strech !!! where was the piece ???

Oh, should have said: The piece is along the neck/shoulder junction, and down over the collarbone.

I dig what you're saying about the "push and stretch". That might help.

And I'll have to be careful not to push on this old girl's carotid too hard, 'cuz if she goes out on me, she'd crush me like a bug!

Seriously, thanks for the advice. Since I'm just filling in, the shorter stroke won't be a problem, and I figured to use a 15mag to get as much ink in in one pass as I can.

Now I'm going to go to the bar and find me a fat chick to practice "pushing and stretching" on (wink, wink, nudge, nudge)

Thanks again man,

It might be easier to have an assistant to help you out with the stretching or tell her join a gym first. Aren't I cruel.
