There are two Kuro Sumi ink bottle that are sold. One is tattoo outlining ink and the other is greywash ink. (Which is the black stuff dilluted )
I havent heard of a generic Kuro as that is a brand name.

Intenze True Black makes Kuro Sumi look gray , works great for tribal and solid black lettering , but is almost impossible to get diluted far enough to make a gray wash out of.

Dynamic Dye is the blackest and stays the blackest of any ink I have ever used. Messy as hell to work with, and it don't cut worth a shit but for tribal black, it is the bomb!
Intenze true black is very black easy to put in the skin heal fast , you can use it for outlining and for Tribal black one of the best black out there.!

i disagree that intenze black tru black cant be diluted properly.get a 1 once or half once bottle fill it to the neck with distilled water and or witch hazel.drop one drop of black into it shake well.drop one drop of the mix on a damp paper towel and allow to stain what you see will be the strenght of your wash.if you want it darker add drops shake and stain your paper towel.the same can be done in a ink cap,but you must add water first.you can use toothpicks to get smaller amounts of ink to add to your caps and to also mix your mixtures. and i agree that intenze black is the blackest ive ever used.BTW there are plastic toothpicks on the market for those that are concerned about wood particles in there mix
