Hi what iyo is the best size liner for a piece i'm doing at weekend
it's a large cross about full size a4 and the main part of the cross is quite a heavy line ,i want to do it in one pass because there long straight lines and i don't want to be building my lines up
i've just got some 14 liners so the question is has any of you used this size liners and should i use them or drop down to a 9 or 7
if you think i should go with the 14s should i up the voltage or tune my liner to a longer throw etc etc

Cheers

A 14 round liner should give you a fairly bold line. If you only want to pull them once you should run them slow. It's a good idea to crank up the voltage a bit too. When you start the line do a little experimentation to see if you're getting a good solid line. If it's spotty or too thin give it more juice. The added weight of the 14rl shold require more juice.

I would suggest a TIGHT 14 if your going to try a 14 liner ( there is a difference ) , I use them all the time , make sure your'e stretching the area , they will snag if the area isnt taut !!!! if you're not comfortable w/ a 14, try a 9 rd , you might not be able to do it in one pass but you never know !!! Remember you can always add but you cant take away !!!
