I went to a tattoo shop & got a pretty big piece on my chest. Its just the outline of a dragon & skull. Was wondering if I would damage the lines if I started drinking 6 hours after Ive had it done? THX :twisted:

Alcohol thins the blood. During the tattoo and the healing process, ive drank after a tattoo I got on my shoulder cause it hurt like hell, and started bleeding after i got a decent buzz on, needless to say i dont drink until after a couple days of getting fresh ink, but yes one beer will even thin the blood.

LOL all of mine are still there but it took alot longer to heal then the other tats i have.

I can not say that I have noticed a difference, I get tattooed every Saturday and drink Guinness and whisky at night, the only thing that I notice is a banging headache next day. I wonder if that is a side effect of getting tattooed?

Well I kept the drinking to one quart so I wouldnt chance it. But theres always tonight! :twisted: Anyways if Inkster drinks Guinness & Green Soap, I mean whisky, I think Ill be ok :wink:

well all i can say is
if the tattoo means anything to you then is it worth the risk for the sake of a couple of beers i think not
