i know someone already posted a question about this but no one answered it. but what brands can be mixed? i dont want to waste ink finding out lol

Stick with the brands, do to each one will use different formula's and ingredents to make up their blends.

i didnt mean can you mix two different brands together haha. so you can mix the colors as long as its the same brand?

yes , but remember you can always add a lttle , but you cant take away , so easy does it w/ the pouring

to do gradients in shading try dipping the tip in another color,say dark to a lighter to get the proper change/shade.( ala forgive'n) :wink:

I wasn't tring to be a smartass or anything sorry if sounded wrong.
Try a color chart from any art or craft shop.
Like Forgivin said you can always add a little but you cant take it out.

......but what about mixing white of one brand (Iron Butterfly) into colors of another brand (Mom's, Millenium) I just split some two ounces bottles into 2- one ounce bottles, straight color in one and a mix of 1part IB white, to 20parts Mom's. Have I just wasted all that ink? The color variance is a very subtle change in the original shade. I figured a 20:1 mix ratio, shouldn't have any adverse effects on the Mom's even if it wasn't mixed with Mom's white. Let me know....Please.
