grommets?

One more question,does everyone favor the grommet,paper towel or armature tape when puting needle on armature bar?I found that with paper towl you can achieve a heavier strike.,sometimes when i use grommet ,half way through the tattoo its pretty much shot.

I have always used medical tape and like it best over a grommet.I guess it realy depends on the artist. Just use what works best for you.

For myself I use nipples and will check the fit of the needle bar eyehoop fit and snug it up if needed....

I use the top hat style grommet.

pulse' grommets r the full shapebut very soft and easy to put on the bars, very secure too.

i use the top hat grommets ,easier to put the needle loop on , but a friend of mine swears by the paper towel so its really your own prefrence

apparently bill baker says the important thing is a good tight fit and thatsallthat matters, some bar loupes require paper toweel cos thyre mis shaped.

If you use grommets remember to use the black ones. For some reason the ones I've used that were different colors seemed to be made of a harder rubber than the black ones. This resulted in a grommet that was difficult to get into the loop of the needle.
