Pelican for lining and Old School Tribal black, is there any difference in these? Why not just use the same for outlining and tribal? Which one works better? I'm ordering some Kuro Sumi, can I use this for tribal as well as lining or do I need a "tribal" filling ink? Thanx

you can use the sumi straight for lining and tribal and cut with witchhazel/distilled water is great for shading/b+g too
Some ppl like to simmer down there sumi to make it a bit thicker for solid tribal, but i get great results without....i have also started using a 50/50 sumi/talens mix thats really black too :D
