This is a trick that I recently learned and it is by packing your coils with steel wool. When you take your coils off your machine there is a large hole in the bottom where the screws mount into it. Well the screws are typically short but that hole is alot deeper. By packing the coils with steel wool you will soup up your machine and make it a bit more powerful. When I did it I noticed a drastic change in my machine.
Quick note...if you buy a Time Machine machine I know that they pack every coil before they ship. Currently saving up for one.
Not sure if any other tattoo companies machines do this to there machines...
Enjoy

Never knew that, I wonder if by using a longer bolt you will acvhieve better results still because of a "solid" centre mass / core.

I am sure it could be possible but trying to find the exact bolt to fit the gap will differ between coils. On my two machines I noticed the gaps varied between them and by packing them with steel wool was quick and it adapts well to any gap...when I say pack I seriously mean pack it hard...I use the allen/hex key to push the steel wool in tight.
But hey if the bolt thing works let me know.
