yes and no. Crappy chicken scratches and scribbles are just that... Crap.
The artist I would have to admire the most would be Banksy. He's an innovator who wants to send a message not just paint pretty pictures.

yeah i agree. tags and handstyles do give graffiti a bad wrap. but unfortunatly just like any artform there are those who just dont care. other than that i like banksy a lot too. very creative dude... i do appreciate where some guys are taking it... i mean to like fine art graffiti, stenciling, postering, and even sculpture. but i will always have the biggest love reserved for productions and serious experienced graffers. stencils kind of lose that originality and rawness of attacking the same alphabet that everyone knows. plus its supposed to be bad. i like that. its just art. im too old to be running from the cops but i still like to paint. mabye thats why i like tattooing... cause its kind of looked down upon in society but its getting more socially accepted. anyhoo gotta draw somethin

got to give props to seen and phase 1 for making grafiti what it is i started tagging when i was like 13 it was the way i could show my art to every body and a couple of weeks later you could do it all over again.the last piece i did was a tribute to an uncle on the side of a liquor store about 6 years ago im 28 now and lay floor covering so my legs cant get me away from the cops like they used to. but i live close to some railroad tracks now and get to enjoy the art passing through every day maybe one day ill pick up the cans again but for now it the tattoo machine

yeah I love the big burners.
Dont like to see loads of tagging or tiny chromes allover everything and anything.
Went in to Germany in Feb and at the sides of the motorway everything was tagged for mile after mile through Holland was bad also.
If its big and colourful I love it.
Got any links to Graf sites ??
