tattooing from your home is not illegal where i live (ontario, can.)but it would probably be a good idea to look into any laws pertaining to this for the area u live in . i do a fair amount of work from my home and have not had any probs. as long as things are in order (sterilization, etc.)it shouldn"t be a major prob.

Depends on the state.. Some are Gov. regulated some aren't. In Arizona it's a free for all, and in TN you have to carry a state license, through a health dept regulated shop. Michigan, it varies from county to county. your states .gov site will have the info.

Hi,
I am a complete newbie when it comes to tattooing (I have been on the recieving end of the needle for the last 13 years..)
Just got my first machine today. - Not going to tattoo anything that is alive for the forseable future......
What are the laws in the UK regarding tattooing at home ?
How can I get rid of my sharps legally ?
(Gonna use disposable tubes when I eventually get enough skill to do some ink on a person.)
Thanks,
Stevieb
