hi hows it going not really sure if this is where i should post this or not. well basically ive been using voodoo brand ink and it seems ok but not as bright as i would like after it heals. i decided to order some new inks to try them out so i ordered the millenium basic color kit in 1 ounce bottles and 2 12 ounce bottles of kuro sumi one lining and one graywash. well basically the ink came in i was checking it out and shook ther bottle of purple nurple and could hear somthing banging around inside opened it up and there was a nut inside the ink. i was alittle confused by this so i called the people i bought it from and told them, they told me that its stainless steal and that its in there to help mix the ink. this seems wierd to me especially since its only in the one bottle of purple nurple and i got 11 other 1 ounce bottles in the kit. any input on this would be appreciated. im kinda sketched about using this ink i dont want to infect anyone with it also it seemed like it had leaked alittle by the seal on the bottle so i was worried they tryed to reseal it after they had used it in there own shop or somthing. maybe they put bolts in there ink there. :?:

adirondack that is perfectly normal. I know alot of ink manufactuers whom put ink mixers (nuts, balls, etc.) in their ink. Millenium uses ss nuts. As for you saying that only the purple nurple had the nut in it, try this, band the bottles really hard against your hand. Hold the red cap on good though, and make sure the top is screwed on good! Why I suggest you give them a good hit is probably in the other colors they have nuts as well, its just due to settleing, etc. the nut is probably stuck to the bottoms, or in the neck of the bottles. Try it and see what happens. Also Millenium is pretty reputable, so I am sure that the nuts they put in the bottles are sterile.

I always buy extra stainless steel agiators for my ink..
Just put them in your ultrasonic at first , then you autoclave them!
I use intenze ink, and they dont have agiatorballs in there ink.. But its important to have the balls in your ink, they help to mix the pigment.
If you are having trouble with the balls getting stuck, just put the whole inkbottle in your ultrasonic for like 20 minutes.

I checked and the only color that has the nut in it is the purple nurple. Has anyone else who purchased millenium ink had nuts in the ink bottles when they purchased them ,and if so was it only the purple nurple. thankyou for all your input

I recently bought the pack of 14 new colors by Millenium and NONE of them had any nuts in the bottles.
You also mentioned that it looked like the bottle had leaked a little. With brand new Millenioum inks once you take the cap off you have to pull of a seal from the top of the bottle before you can use it. Was the seal still intact or was it already pulled off?
