Hi,
did 3 chines sign on a stomach today, first a used a 7liner and 8volts,
but when i did the solid black with a 9 round, 2mm gap and 5 volts the skin didn´t hold for a bit.

changed machines back to the liner, put in a 9 liner and used 8 volts to fill in solid black the skin hold great, that must mean that im going to slow and weak with the shademachine, becuase if the skin hold great at 8 volts and with 1,25mm gap and it don´t at 5volts 2mm gap???????

F..k going crazy,
did a tattoo on the back of a guy today, lines came out perfect,
but then i used a 14 round shader in one of the shadermachines and used around 5-6volts the skin breaked up big time...

Changed machines to another shadwermachine to a slower machine and used 7 mag shader and used 4,8 volts, the shading was really smooth got almost a chock that mags are the kings of shading.....

Sometimes the skin hold great sometime not, the skin hold when the skin is thicker, like on the back and leg but not on special upperarm, what does that mean, im i really going to fast, sometimes when the skin is being "hamburgering" im going so slow thats the machine is almost dead, like 4 volts and 2mm gap, and still the skin breaks big time?????? Do i still run the machine to fast??

u say its better to have a really slow machine and then turn the volts up?? because with a really slow machine the volts must go up a bit?

remember on your shader the throw is longer than a liner.so on some the volts to run it might b higher than your liner.also how far r the needles hanging out of the tube?i myself use mags to color now, they pack in the ink much quicker and with less trauma to the skin.my machine sounds like an old car in winter trying to start! slow is the way to go!i also do not hang my needles out when useing the mags/flats so they dont snag the skin!

Sometimes, it could be the slightest bit of a few things. The above mentioned are of course crutial, also remember to "Stretch" that skin. Thats where you will see a lot of chalenges because every client is different. You will actually feel it when it's right. I know it's a lot to absorb at one time but try and relax and let the machine work for ya. You just be the guide. Time , and patience my friend. Don't let it get you down. Also remember the three pass rule.

ok, have fixed the problem now, feels really good to finally understand how the machine works in all aspects..

I did run the machine to fast, now im only using mags and not going higher than 5 volts on the shader and always at least 3 rubberbands and 2mm gap on the machine...

Thanks for all answers...
