initial labret length

Hi there, :D I was wondering what is the best length labret to start off with to accomodate for swelling? is it 16mm or is that too long?

depends on your anatomy, you need to allocate at least 2 mm longer than you lip measures in width. Most people will need between 8 and 11 mm initially. 16 mm is long enough to be a tongue bar (too long)
