Hello,
I've currently got a 4mm flesh tunnel in the left lobe which is going sweet and i'm up to a 3mm in my right.
I think i've stepped up the right too soon coz it nips when i twiddle it and there's no chance of it taking my stretching claw. it's been nearly three weeks since the last stretch (for both), the left is soon to go up to a 5mm but i'm going to have to wait for the right... but how long? is it an over stretch that's the problem here or could it be something else? Ahem... is the cheesy thing normal????
(if you understand that last question i trust you'll answer it responsably and if you don't understand it i can tell you some random excuse for what it's meaning with preserved dignity;) )

Cheers

you should be giving the tissue 6 to 8 weeks to recover before stretching again. The smell is exuded sebum, happens to everyone. Take the jewelry out and clean your ears once a day, or switch to organic plugs (not while stretching)... this will soak up some of the sebaceous fluids and make the smell less noticeable.

Thanks for that MP, I think i need to slow things down a wee bit then.
Thank goodness the cheesy thing's normal... I was starting to think i had some sort of fungle infection.

Ok... this is old but the best way to do any flesh tunnel is to start small and stretch it... slowly. get your ear pierced with an 8 gauge needle and let it heal ALL the way. Once healed, go up 1 (and I mean ONLY one) size, wait about a month and go up another until the desired size is achieved.

It took me almost a year to go from 18 gauge to 7/16" in my left ear and about 7 months to go from 8 gauge to the same size in my right.
I waited a full year before going to 1/2" where I'm at today... the bigger you go, the more you gotta wait between sizes... I coulda easily gone from 7/16" to 1/2" after about 2 months but I didn't wanna go any bigger at the time. Been at 1/2" now for 2 years and still debating on going up to 9/16"...

hahaha made me laugh
I stretched my ears myself when i was 15
i had no money.... so i used my mums and my mates lol
i bought 6mm tunnels and 17mm tunnels
i got my ears pierced and when i got home i stretched up to 6mm... put the 6mm tunnels in and left them to settle.. and let the swelling go down...
a week later i relized i didnt have anything to stretch further with....
so i went on a hunt....
and i found *drum role*........ the tip off a tube of liquid nails hahahaha
and i stretched to 17mm with that in 2 days,.....i ripped my right one a tad..
i have had my 17's in for 2 years now... never had any problems...
yea they smell a bit but thats natural hahaha
anyways... thats my story
and i will hopefully be grabbing a set os 18's for xmas :)

Wow, old thread eh
I've got 00g's in both now... + they don't smell with the bone plugs (only wear bone once healed).

it took me about 8 months to go from a 10g to a 7/16...
first few times sucked...tore small parts in the skin...didnt let time for it to heal....but oh well, live and learn....
main problem was some tunnels had a flare on both sides, and you needed to stretch 2 sizes bigger it seemed for a hole 1 size bigger than what you already had....go figure.....
