I know the best way to do anything during a tattoo is to constantly change gloves, but what methods do you use to apply spray or to change voltage settings during a tattoo without the need to change gloves all the time.
Im very concerned with the thread about Staph and im currently revising my hygeine methods. I use Dettol to clean my work area, would this be sufficient for instance? Dettol lists Staph as one of the infections it kills.

Howz'it man, Bag your bottles, with a small hole to poke the spray nozzle through!, I cover the front of my power supply with a piece of plastic cling rap as you can see through it, ( do not bag the whole thing as it will overheat)!. Anything you will touch during the Tattoo process ( apart from your client), that cannot be discarded or claved, should be covered with a single use plastic rapping of some kind!, anything outside of the Tattooing erea, remove cloves, adjust sterio volume etc, wash hand's, put on new gloves!.

I use a small table that isolates the things I'm using during a tattoo from the rest of my equipment. If I have to touch anything thats not on the table I get a new pair of gloves first. Table is covered by plastic wrap and my bottles and clipcord are wrapped also. Anything you use more than once should be cleaned with a disinfectant then wrapped with a barrier before use. Anything that touches the skin during a session should be discarded.

Thanks a lot for that guys.....................
I was thinking of wrapping some medical tape around the knobs on my power supply. Would that be considered safe??
