voodoo black liner ink

im useing voodoo black liner ink from spaulding,and it works great for out lineing.but im doing a back piece its trible like,and im haveing problems coloring in,could it be the ink?ive tried adjusting volts,contact screw,etc.just would like to know you guys thoughts.

I only use voodoo black for practice skin.

thanks for yalls input also im haveing trouble with a 13mag i cant get it to put the color in that black that is i can see each needle line on the skin

for coloring in tribal, try using triple black ink from Eternal, it goes in like butter.
