i tattoo at an average speed, wide open spaces you can cover some ground with larger mags like a 15 -23 etc.

Good work, but the indian guy seems a little bit too fast working if u know what im referring to..
U have probably ran your shading machine too fast, because u can get much smoother shading if u run slower and take your time, but if u are happy with it im happy:)

no dude, shader wasn't fast at all, i tattooed it purposely like that, i didn't want a soft smooth effect on this one, i wanted a nostalgic hard edge look to it like an old pencil sketch. that picture was taken about a year after i did it. the tattoo is about 4 years old now. being that the tattoo is on his side, it doesn't get much abuse and settled in there absolutely beautiful. its really not that dark in real life as well ,for some reason the pictures come out like that, thanks man!

raven, that tattoo is bloody beautiful man!!! i appreciate the "antique" look of the piece, looks almost like an old tintype. superb work. and i love the idea of using the mag the whole way through, as outlines tend to make even portraits appear "cartoon-like", something i have intended to learn and will over many years of practice.
p.s. thank you for all of the info i find in all of your other posts as well.
