tips please

any tips on shading a raven or blackbird would be awesome guys i need to incorporate the word honor as well thanks

have you done the outline already?post a photo if you have.that type of design usually has a rough sketchy texture,dark whip shading with negative spaces to indicate the light reflections on the feathers etc.a photo would be most helpful
