I still have problems with the needle speed. I have to more increadabley slow to lay down a line or put in color. With outlining not only do I have to more painfully slow the lines do not come in solid. Same problem with the coloring of this piece. I am worried that in my zeal to acheive solid olor i may have over-worked some areas. I'll find out in a a week or so. I beleive that the springs on my guns affect how fast the needle moves but as I only have the ones for the guns I dont really want to fool around with bending them but I will switch them to see how that works. Am I on the right track about the springs or is it something else?

that is really nice work, but the red doesn't look all in there... linework is spot on.

Not to shabby. I kinda like it.

BTW you shouldn't bend your springs. There is a contact screw there how ever ;)

hey hellion, red is a quirky color to lay down, partly from who manufactures the ink and partly from the fact that the tat is bleeding at the time and its hard to tell if it took properly until its healed.i like your work.strive onward!

Thank you!!!
im getting that impression about red
as far as bleeding ive been told by a few people that tattoos are not supposed to bleed unless maybe their blood is thin due to drinking. so i judge my work by how much it does not bleed. with red it was hard to tell if i was making any mistakes by causing bleeding.
i realize i might be totaly wrong about the bleeding
