dark skin

sorry if theres a back post on this i did look ,i tattoo a lot of african and fijians they allways ask for black tattoos because they get told colour doesnt show up very well but is that true i was all ways told black or red ink for really dark skin but has any one had any luck with colour and totaly off the subject has anyone bought Joshu Carltons new book i can get a copy a bit cheaper than the ebay price but its still a lot of money cheers.

I havent been able to get colors to come out bright on some of my mexican buddies.. actually I asked Dave Martinez about this exact question when I sat with him for a session and he showed me his arms and said.. thats about as bright as it gets with dark skin...

In regards to Joshuas book... its ok.. the machine setup section has me questioning some things.. not convinced yet but wondering.. but the book as a whole seemed a little rushed.. but definately good info in it.. Im looking to sell or trade mine.. make me an offer...
