white won't cover black, when you are lining stuff like that try to put your lines on the inside of the stencil lines or tell your client the design needs to be bigger

Seems that you need to learn more about lining technique,
try to use a bigger linerneedle sometime...
Its easier to get straight lines then and try to ride the tube because u seem to have problem with hitting on the right spot!
Keep it up!

You may find that you have more control with larger grips too. I know the 1'' grips helped me get much better lines.

i no when i did i was debating weather to use a 7rl with a small grip i think there 1/2, or a 5rl with a 5/8. im ordering more this week from technical tattoo they have 1 inch grips so hopefully it will help me out a whole lot better

IMO the 1" grips are alot easier to get crisper lines, they also help with hand fatigue.

If you can get access to an autoclave I'd say get yourself some Red Rats they helped my hand fatigue and seemed to make my lining slightly better

i was going to use a flat to straighten the lines up I wouldn't advise it unless you really know what you are doing, a flat can be an electric knife and cut someone to the bone. the safer way would to be to practice on some practice skins and grapefruit untill you can pull a consistant weight straight line with a round, when ya can do that then go back and tighten things up.

Am I the only one who isn't able to view the pics? Am I doing something wrong? I'm not much of a computer guy and I can see most the other pics posted.
