Nice tranquil piece there dude, i was a bit confused with the high-lights but realised the brighter parts are from your flash... doh
I think the the bottom of the slope is a bit of a void (infront of the middle tree), i don't know what to make of that bit.
Apart from that i like it.

nice bro ...i have been love to paint with oils...ill have to get some pics up of my shit too.....

if i may be a critic for a second, I always use a totaly dry brush around the roots of my trees and blend the roots into the grass then add fine details... it creates a killer effect making the tree look like its sprouting out of the ground and not just floating there....but i love seeing your painting on here thats killer.....as a whole we cant limit our artistic abilities to just tattooing, we need to do it all....to me its all about portraying a message with out words.......later

ya i know what your saying about the roots maybe when i go back in to touch some things up ill do that, the main part i see is if you look at the center tree and the one on the left mainly the one on the left the tree is actually bigger on the top than it is at the bottom I'm surprised nobody else noticed that its the same with the middle tree just not as bad i noticed that when i stepped back and really took a look at it I'm also going to touch this up after it dries. I'm a big critic of my own work i always find something i could of done better in all of them.

Good use of texture on the bark of the trees and some of the various weeds. Looks rad.

fkn love that background to foreground layering ya goin on... very cool.
Just a tip brutha.. for whats its worth. When I do cherry trees.. water colors... and some acrylic... i use a loose and longer fine brush.. close to a pin striping brush.. and while i drag out a branch of my tree... i holder it flatter to canvas... dragging..while lifting up.. and also turning... to give high/lows.. natural distortion to the branch...and making it get thinner to the tip.. its a tried and true technique...

just a tip.. but fkn kick ass painting bro. The colors are fitting my freakin mood right at this moment.. i feel like just sittin..right in that little clearing..
RESPECT TO THA HAPPY LIL TREES!
