:???: Ok, so I finally had a go at tattooing my self. I know I should not have went back around the smily face. I know its not good but it was my first time on REAL skin(mine) its on the inside of my left leg above the ankle, but not over the bone or anything.
dont laugh!

Actually for a first attempt its not too bad,no blowouts and circles are tough, good job.
Re do the outline to the smily face , abit of shading to give the feeling of depth and colour it in yellow and your laughing.
Can't help you with the triangle though!lol

hey thank you! Its alot diffrent tattooing on real skin than fruits and fake skin. Alittle easyer I think, I will color it in after it heals. AndI was thinking about going around it again with a bigger liner to even the lines out a bit. The triangle I think I will just cover up at some point....haha with something else after I get alittle better. I was just trying some simple things to start out. Thank you for your input :)

Not too bad, know just remeber you asked and this is not slaming you, lines are a little shakey and a few thin spots in the lining of the smiley face, and with the triangle you don't want to start and stop on the corners, keep practicing you'll get it.........

i know no one is slamming me, I love thisplace. Learned so much! I wanted to hear what every one thought :). Its so much diffrent doing real skin.
So when you say you dont want to start and stop on the corners do you mean just keep going when you get the the corners?

looks good for what it is. i suggest you try something a little more difficult. like a small star or something, and go through the process of making and applying a stencil and lining and coloring it. take your time when lining make sure all your lines are solid. try to keep your lines consistent. all u can do is practice.

This was in a German Tattoo mag I bought yesterday ,might help you to gauge how wide to go with the circle outline

u picked circles for your first damm that is brave. I still practice circles all the time just to keep them tight. Lines are clean enough and no blowouts which is a great start.
