I would suggest maybe a category that has some resident threads that pertain to the very basic questions that get asked alot. Also maybe a search engine to find stuff. Please dont suggest the FAQ site because I 'm not finding the info. there. thanks (just a suggestion to make an already great site better).

I agree though it would cut down on the repeat posts asking for basic info. Just my .02

sorry I missed that search engine must be blind I guess. But what about some of that basic stuff? Maybe just some articles about basic shit. You don't even have to be able to reply or post to it. It would save the senior members from having to explain things over and over.

I would just like to thank you for that revelation! shows Intelligence. You know some of you senior members think that all newbies owe them some sort of respect and gratification. Let me be the first to tell ya (maybe your momma and daddy never taught you guys this) The amount of respect you deserve is equal to the amount you give others. Obviously you respect knowone. Also heres another suggestion maybe a BITCH category for guys like you to vent. That pent up hostile shit ain't good for ya. It'll drive ya Mad !!

careful there itchy... respect must ALSO be earned... if you go back and read the posts by unforgiven , you would see your assumptions of him are incorrect. he's a very cool cat in my book , you gotta look at this way dude, YOUR coming into our sandbox and want to play. i have personally wrote several long in depth articles about the basic "shit" you are speaking of , its pretty easy to find..sorry its not all fucking categorized for you , would you like me to print it all out for you and put in a nice binder and mail it to you? i can bring you coffee too, wow, a whopping seven posts, you've earned it.

hey I just said it was a good suggestion so watch what your saying "fucknut" and "they" would have been fine before the internet I assure you....Lots of good info here though and until this post this forum actually seemed different than some of the others with all the drama. anyways I give a shit less for "the basics" to be posted, just figured it was a good idea to cut down on the same posts 100 times about the same shit....and as far as respect goes

"thanks fer comin out fucknuts"

that doesn't earn shit....like it or not.

I want to play nice in the sand box but don't need somebody kickin sand in my face. As for "the basics" I am already beyond most of that stuff but thought it was a good suggestion. Hence the category "site suggestions". Sorry if I offended anyone. Also no need to print and binder it for me but the coffee would be great !! ( 2- creams please)

I don't blame Unforgiven for his hastiness(PROBABLY OVERDOSING ON CRISPY CREME'S lol...), he's just fed up with folks who ask questions that have been answered 10 times over. It shows that they might not have the patience and determination to take time and look over the forum and read!!!!!!!!! In this trade, those are 2 major important traits that you will need if you really want to suceed. Also, I know he sounded a smidge disrespectful, but pal, don't disrespect seniors, you won't last very long. Just the way it is.
Regarding the "Basics section", not a bad idea.

gotcha covered... since your older than me (not by much) and i respect my elders, i'll bring you coffee, but since i can smoke your ass tattooing, your buying lunch!!!! lol ;) one reason why it would be tough to do what you are asking , is that there is no one right way to do allot of the basic stuff you are talking about, sooo. say if i were to write a 20 page summery on say machine setup, someone new would read it and take it as gospel, and say an experienced artist would read it and doesn't do it that way, but still gets the job done. so who would be right? i think it would stir up some unnecessary shit. like i said before there is more than one path to the same tree. just take some time (allot of it) and go through every post on the forum, the amount of knowledge that is here and readily available you wont find anywhere else, thats my advice... peace

i,m with ya dank, machine setups are one thing but sterilization is a constant. perhaps more emphasis should be put on this topic, with an open forum that requires no criteria for membership you are going to get people that will go straight for the nut meat and bypass all the boring but important stuff like this. i believe before you are admitted on to the forum you should have to take a sterilization and cross contamination quiz. not long, just the basics . post some links to the apt and other organizations for further reading. now it wouldn't be comprehensive but if it stops one cracker from spreading some cooties , its worth it. if your not part of the solution then your part of the problem.
