what are the the laws and penaltys for tattooing out of your house. is it any lesser of a crime if your not chargin for the tattoo?

purple you need to register with the MWRA (medical waste regulatory act) for sharps disposal...also contact your local health dept.

It would probably be easier to try and get into a shop. some counties in MI are really picky about tattooing. I was thinking the same thing and from talking to different shop owners, I get the impression that it would be really difficult.

just go to your counties health dept. tell em you thinkin of opening a shop and they will give you a free copy of the state and county rules. our shop has a mobile studio for bike rallies and its a headache on regs because counties can make their own regs as long as their stricter then the state.
