Is it sore like a bruise? you may have gone too deep and the ink has spread out.....

Ive noticed that all my self done stuff heals differently..sometimes bruises, sometimes scab, sometimes flake. If your like me and trying all kinds of techniques and lines, varying depths and thickness, needles and handstroke, I would say its pretty normal stuff your going thru..BUT if that sucker even looks like it might be infected (oozing pus, moldy crap, red streaks, constant pain) see a doctor asap and if you have really serious concerns dont ask here see a doctor..when them endorphins kick in I lose track of time and overwork big time..so now on some good advice im back on grapefruit for a while...

I get really bad bruising everywhere except for the outsides of my arm, i got writing around my neck in a necklace style that went black and purple ten minutes after i was done, generally if its not oozing i dont worry, but you know your own body better than anyone else.

some people just have very sensitive skin. i did a tattoo on this dude, and soon as the needle pierced the skin his shit swelled up about a 1/2". i asked if he had any problems, and read his waiver, it was just very sensitive, i mean very sensitive. he pulled his shirt up and said watch this, he took his finger and scratched a line down his stomach, and i shit you not i watched the skin raise up within like 10 seconds. needless to say it was a little difficult to get the color in, as you know swollen skin gets very tight.

wow, kelly...that would make me nervous as hell! did you try to calm with witch hazel? but even then Im sure you'd still get raising with each touch...

ive only ever bruised on my collar bone but it was more down to the artist being heavy handed aswell, turned out great though lol
Also had some customers who's skin raises very quickly on minimum depth and force but as mentioned is down to the persons skin.
