Shading Help!!

Hey guys ive been doing tattoos for about 6 months now but just stuck to easy designs! I think now i want to start a bit of shading, Any tips on this area?

yeah check the otherposts dude as ive had my share of questions in this area up, be prepared for plenty of experimenting though lol

all I can tell you is that it's all in the feel. It cannot be taught, but it must be learned. You'll know it when you get there. And when done well it looks like you're just scribbling. Shading is like black magic. I can tell this though...it is much easier and looks much smoother when you start light and gently build it up to darker tones. Once you go too dark early on then everything has to be darkened in proportion.
