o.k., i've read a bunch of posts on this but i just want to be clear. i ordered a bottle of kuro sumi(liner ink) and i wanted to know if i should cut my straight sumi down to a greywash before making the graduations from there?
i've seen lots of formula for cutting black, but it seems like they are all starting with greywash. also, i've read that greywash is 33% ink, 66%water. then i saw 50/50. if i've missed these answers in previous posts, my bad!

you can cut it to greywash if you want yeah, what i do is pour a bit of kuro sumi into 1oz empty ink bottles and cut them in the 1oz bottles rather than just putting half the kuro sumi in a bottle. that way you can make as many diff shades of greywash as you like. but yup you can use the kuro sumi liner ink to make greywash

no idea mate id say no it isnt because i cant see a company changing names just for uk clients. and so much fake kuro sumi chances are its just a cheap rip off of kuro sumi... best thing is ask the suppliers or makers of kuro sumi. i seen euro sumi... £50 a bottle on a uk supplier website... that is insane lol kuro sumi is only about £8... so i cant see them being the same ink myself.

yeah and watch out for "kurro summi" another cheap knock-off
the real shit is spelled "kuro sumi"
and is available from needlejacks and the other supplier that is also the distributor(dont want to name them here), but in a nut shell look closely at what your buying or you could get ripped off
