i remember this one....Samuel F. O'Reilly, patented in Dec. 1891. the design was a concept of the origanal design of Thomas Edison. Edison designed an electric pen that looked farely similar to this. however his design didnt make it very far. so O'Reilly who was already into the tattoo industry took the design, and tweaked it to his specs, and created the very first electric tattoo machine. quite an interesting story...
